Refund policy
Purchases from our online store (www.gmca.cy):
The return of the product can be made to the GMCA store within 14 calendar days from the day of the withdrawal request, together with the receipt. The withdrawal request must be sent within 14 days from the date of receipt or delivery.
We do NOT accept returns on products that are special order.
Definition of Special Orders
A “Special Order” means any product that:
* is manufactured, assembled, processed, or modified according to the customer’s requirements or specifications;
* is specifically ordered for the customer and is not normally held in the Company’s stock;
* is imported or procured upon the customer’s request in a specific quantity, colour, size, finish, or other specification;
* includes customised or made-to-order products, such as custom-sized mirrors, bespoke constructions, and products specifically manufactured or adapted for the customer.
Prepayment
The Company reserves the right to require full or partial prepayment before confirming any Special Order.
Cancellation
Once a Special Order has been confirmed by the customer and accepted by the Company, it may not be cancelled without the Company’s prior written consent.
Returns and Right of Withdrawal
For products manufactured or customised according to the customer’s specifications, or clearly personalised products, the statutory right of withdrawal shall not apply, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
For other categories of Special Orders, acceptance of cancellations or returns shall be at the sole discretion of the Company and may be subject to cancellation charges, restocking fees, transportation costs, or any charges imposed by the supplier or manufacturer.
Defective Products
Nothing in this clause affects the consumer’s statutory rights in relation to defective products or products that do not conform to the sales contract.
We do NOT accept returns on toilet seats for reasons of hygiene.
It is noted that responsibility and any costs incurred for returning the product back to the store are borne by the buyer. In the case that our company agrees to carry out the return with its own mean of transport the return fee is set to 60 (sixty )EUR.
The product will be checked by our company's Technical Department within a reasonable period of time, and if it meets the criteria below, you will be able to receive a refund for the value of your purchase. Any shipping fees are not refundable.
Criteria:
- The original packaging includes all products and accessories
- The original packaging, the product, and the included accessories have not been damaged or altered*.
However, if during the inspection, it is found that any of the above criteria are not met, and that the product has been used by the customer to a point beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and function of the product, then the customer will not be entitled to a refund and the company will NOT accept the return of the product.
The above policy applies only to physical entities. In case of a legal entity the 14-day return policy does not apply. For legal entities, our showroom policy applies
